planning a DIY plywood tank w. dimensions of 38x38x24.
the 24 is the ground space, including the overflow filtration area in the back.
the front will look like a square.
how thick should my glass(34"x34") be?

not worth it,it would cost to much to make it.just get someone to make it for you.or make it out of glass

if you do, 1/2 in is a little on the low side for that height, use 3/4

I got a table that has the glass on top for cheap. Its gonna be here tomorrow. If it's not 1/2" thick, which i doubt it will be, ill just go to a glass place and get it cut since its most likely going to be tempered.
Unless the fact that its tempered makes a difference in how thick I need it?
The tank will be about 110 gallons without the overflow area.. and I doubt I could find a tank with those dimensions anywhere else, so I think it'd be worth it to make it. How much do you think it would cost as an estimation? I already figure that just the waterproofing cost(epoxy, silicone, fiberglass mat strips) will be about 100.
