I have looked at using an acrylic tank for a sump tank for my 200g but they are so expensive. My question is does anynone know for sure that just the bottom of glass aquariums are tempered glass? I thought of buying a cheap 20 or 30gallon Topfin brand glass tank from petco but im needing to install a bulkhead in one end which requires drilling. Does anyone know? thanks.
