Still relatively new to this forum and Im just after a bit of advice. I currently have a 6ft long by 2ft wide by 2.5 ft deep glass aquarium that leaks at one of its seams. I've that you often end up with problems again if you simply re silicone the joins. So i was thinking of using fiberglass on the internal joins. Would this work? Has anybody tried this before?
Thanks

Yeah, fiberglass wouldn't work. Just reseal with silicone as before.

Cool thanks for the advice

if its leaking from the seam of the tank (where the to glass planels meet) not the in side silicone i would strap the tank so you dont end up with wet floors and save your self front a tank seal letting go and blowing the side of the tank out.

thats what i do saves problems later or you could rebuild the hole tank.

I was tossing up the idea of strapping it too. I'll give it a go over christmas. If I have to rebuild it then I might try using the glass for a big plywood build. Always wanted a big river tank with a water monitor enclosure incorporated into it.
