glass thickness dovii

what would you guys recommend for glass thickness with a dovii?

I have mine in 1/2 inch thick glass but I think that's over doing it a bit . better safe than sorry I guess lol

How to avoid this if the tank is always in use?

more than likely it would spring a leak and you would have to put them in a kiddie pool to fix the leak. At least that's what im prepared for !

a 2ft dovii will never break the glass in an appropriate sized tank that's built properly unless you put décor that can be pushed into the sides. anything 2ft deep will be in 10mm glass, ever tried breaking up a tank in 10mm lol,
