Glass Thickness for 20 gal high?

Hi! I'm planning to get a 20 gal high next week. But the dimensions is not a standard here in my region. The guy whom I talked told me that he plans on using a 3/8 thick glass.

But I just want to really know how thick of a glass is needed for a 20 gal high? o_o
