glass thickness for 24x24x60

on garf it calls for 3/8" can i get away with 1/4"?

1/4" is only good up to 18" tall, I believe.

with 1/4", you would pretty much have no safety factor at all. You could do it, but I would even advise looking at the tank after you finish it. One wrong look and the glass could give out.
