In all of the tanks that people construct out of plywood and other materials, the front glass panel covers the entire height of the tank. My question is if you make a tank that is say 4 feet tall (water depth of 4 feet) but have the glass only the top two feet, would you only need to calculate the thickness of the glass for the depth of the water at the bottom of the glass? If this is unclear I can attempt to reexplain my question.

Another question is could I disassemble my 210 and use the 7'x2' glass pieces to make a 7'x7'x2' type pond that would have two of the sides being the recycled panels. I guess my question is, could I do this using a pond liner rather than going with the epoxy (or another material) route?
