Hi there, I know there's calculators for glass thickness based on your dimensions and water pressure.
I have access to float glass panels that are 2700x1350mm or 9x4ft pretty much at 12mm, 1/2" thick.
I'm building a tank for an Australian Saratoga/Arowana and I am well aware at that thickness I can only run 750mm water height. I'm fine with that but what I want to know is can I run the glass at the 1350mm for an above water "paludarium" affect. Water will still only be 700-750mm fill height but there will be air gap to the top with plants and branches etc.

Can this be done or because the bracing would still be at the top would the glass have too much flex?

Cheers for any input
