im going to be making an 8x8x4' pond indoors in a green house, and i want to put a 30"x16" glass window in the side, i was wondering if 1/2 glass would be to thin?

realy depending on wer abouts you will be puting the window compared to the 4 foot location, you piece is that small going to 3\4 inch will not be that much more expensive at all for the extra insurance it gives

X2

if its at the top then 1/2inch is fine. If its at the bottom youll need bigger.

well, i have spare peices of 1/2 glass from another project, so i figured it would be worth using those instead of buying new stuff. its going to be in the middle. i can also make it 3 ft tall, maybe that would be better?

x3. We need to know where the glass will be positioned in relation to the side.

probably about a foot off the bottom. like i said, i can make it 3ft high, maybe that would take some stress off the glass
