hey anyone have experience with glass-cages tanks?looking for 300+gal........

GlassCages in Tennesse (blah...don't think i spelled that right) is pretty nice. The silicone is relatively appearant though. I have a couple of their smaller acrylic tanks, and they are working lovely! However, I have heard horror stories about their larger tanks buckling and stuff. Might not be true. Research it...;)

I have a 240gal. glass tank from them. I like it. Can't beat it for the money. Glass bracing around the top and bottom, glass overflows. Strong tank.

my buddy has a custom tank from them and its really nice. made very well and you cant beat the prices,

I have a 75g, 90g and a 135g from them and all are very nice.
My brother has a 180g and he fills th same way. As`the others have stated
you can't beat their prices. I am still considering a 240g.:headbang2 :headbang2

hey thanks for all the info.yea there prices seem preaty good.but if i go 300+ gal maybe i should go glass?don't want any Boeing.

Yeah, I prefer glass for large tanks. Very heavy, but don't bow and scratch so easy. I have a 180gal. acrylic tank sitting empty in the garage, if that tells you anything.:D

a friend got a custom tank 36" tall 200g
finished product is a little rough
his son hit the corner with something and knocked a quater size chunk of glass off
about half way up the side
its been about a year and still holding strong
