Considering drilling my freshwater 75 gal. Verified non tempered. Has fish in it. Worried that the runoff from spraying drill bit will harm fish. I don't see how I can totally control it since I'm drilling a vertical surface. I can mitigate the runoff to an extent but seems like its bound to get away from me and I'll be doing it solo so nobody to help while drill is in operation.

Thoughts? Its either this or go with a HOB. Looking at lifereef.

I use an aquaclear 110. Perfect for my 75.

Do you want to drill fish with in?

Buy a cheap tub... Transfer fish and run the filter on the tub.... Drill tank and clean it... Move fish and decor back.

That would work better if it wasn't heavily planted and lot of small fish. I'm thinking I might be talking myself out of this.
