Hi all, you have helped me in the past with my puffer, now my other tank with my peacock bass has an issue. The bass has a milky white left eye. He appears to be his normal self just a bad eye which seemed to appear literally overnight. I do frequent water changes. It almost looks like a cap on his eye that could be peeled off, like when a snake sheds and the eye caps remain for a bit. If anyone knows what to do please let me know. Right now I treated the tank with Jungle Fungus Clear in case it was a fungus or bacteria. I also added a little more salt. Thanks for your help.

Thanks will do. I couldnt be a battle wound he's only in there with a bichir and a pacu pretty innocent tank mates lol.

IMO, water changes should suffice for glazed eyes. Meds are your last resort if it doesn't work well.

I hope you realize if you put that antibiotic (maracyn/ or 2) in your main tank it will kill all the bacteria. Like your biological bacteria and after you have done enough water changes to get it out of there you will then have to start all over with a tank that has no BB to eat the ammonia or nitrite. That is why it states on the package that a hospital tank is needed. i made this mistake once and my rare payara fish got over the fungus really quick and then a ammonia spike killed a thousand dollars worth of fish a few weeks later. I hope you did your research on this product and do not make my mistake.
