Hi all brudders and Sistas on board,
As promised, here is a brief field report with pics of the Global Pet Expo 2006 I attended in San Diego CA. Today is the second day into the event and personally I feet that the aquatic aspect is lacking very much in this expo. 90% of the show comprise of Dogs/Cats traders. Anyway, I use some little time that I have (been busy meeting with my new potential clients at the show), I took some pics that got me interested. Not many though as most of the display tanks in the show is not MONSTER enough for my appetite. Anyway guys, enjoy the report:
Here is the entrance of the show. Man, the registration is tough and strict!:
Inside, I was immediately captivated by this nice black Eheim bus!:
Then there is another Kitty Vehicle that amused me:
I saw this huge monster of a lizard (related to the Gila monster). Claimed to be the biggest of its kind measuring at about 3ft:
The actual adult Gila monster:
The baby of the Gila monster on display:
This is the live fish gallery in the Expo:
Nothing displayed in those tanks are monster enough to wet my appetite, but I took some nice pics of some interesting and 'modified' fishes
Lastly, a very nice display tank of 2 big Mata Mata:
Thats all the pics I have folks, hope you enjoy them. I think I will depart from the beautiful San Diego with good memories even though tired. Last pic, is the superd sunset view from my hotel balcony:
