Ok so I have glofish and I really like them I am new to the fish world and I think one of my glofish is prego. How do I help my glofish have babies. And how often to I feed them I have been feeding them once a day and I was told by someone that I should only feed them once a week and then I read some where that I should feed them 2 times a day. I guess I just wanna make sure that I am taking care of my fish the right way so that I don't kill them and maybe expand me fish collection someday.

Glofish are egg layers, not livebearers. They scatter eggs around and need a partner to be able to accomplish it. Breed like the ordinary zebra danios. Use Java moss and place on the bottom as a trap so some eggs can fall deep into it thus avoiding cannibalism from the parents. You do not need to take any efforts breeding them. A heavily planted tank can guarantee you dozens of survivors.

How long does it take after she lays the eggs will it be before I have babies?!
Depending on temperature, it may take 2-4 days. The fry aren't free swimming at that point but by the 6th day prior to hatching, they should be and that's the time when you can feed them. Use special baby foods bought from pet stores or simply drop live plants in it for the fry to graze on the microorganisms harbored among plants.

Mesh netting are best than a planted tank for survival.Temperature can be low from my experience and yeah hatching can take up to a few days, you got fry food prepared?
