Gloss or mat finish black paint for my background?

Hey guys, As the title says i wanna know what type of paint you have used on your back and/or base panels.... which type looks better? Or can you not tell the difference between the 2?

I'm currently enclosing a pine stand and painting it gloss black.... and may have some paint left over.

I'm just worried, If its too glossy i may get ghost images and reflections etc...

Pics of gloss and mat background finishes would be much appreciated

I used a flat and gloss black on my tanks, and flat looks glossy, and gloss looks the same. Really the two didn't look to different. Major difference though is application. The flat went on much easier an with less paint than the gloss.

thanks for the info mate, i might wait and see how glossy this paint is and maybe do a couple of test runs.

i painted my small tank with matte... it came out looking great... seemed to go on really easy... just did about 10 very light coats and it looks flawless

makes no difference except the flat will dry so much quicker then gloss.
