I have had trouble producing ground cover in my 125 for over a year now. Everythign else grows very well. I have CO2 cannisters and 3 metal halide bulbs. What am I doing wrong? I've tried saggitarius, but no luck, so I'm trying the glossostigma. Anybody have any helpful hints with glossostigma? I know it's probably easy but so far, I've been a failure with this.

we've never had any luck with it, it's the only plant we can't get to grow and supposidly it's suppose to be easily grown. we've tried high to low light, CO2 and no CO2, so i don't know what to tell you, sorry:(

at least I'm not the only one. all the books say it's easy.

Lol... same here i gave it high light, high Co2 and tons of ferts and all i got were glosso growing vertically upwards instead of sideways.

glossostigma is a slow growing plant that requires a high amount of bright light. It also is slow to root at first,in time it will cover the bottom,in time. Also trimming the taller shoots will encourage the plant to grow low and wide, wait until plant has rooted and starts to grow steadily before trimming.

Ok it turns out that im get conflicting info on this plant.A encyclopedia of aquarium plants I have says what I stated before but a website I looked at says the oppisite.I'm soooooo confused.
