Gran Torino, Starring Clint Eastwood

It's out in theaters now. If you haven't already, you should go watch it cause of 5 reasons:

1. My mom is in it, she plays the role of the "Mother" of the two main kids.

2. My voice is in it. You can hear me cus and stuff as a voice over for one of the gangsters (not the two main ones) and for some of the other background peeps. (I almost got the main role as the lead kid, but I f'd up in the final audition/call back. I'll get there some time soon.)

3. Clint Eastwood is a Hollywood Icon who probably won't live too long and this could very well be the last movie he'll ever act in again.

4. It's just a dang funny and actually very good movie.

5. It's a can't miss for any Clint Eastwood fan out there.

Here's a pic from the site of the movie shoot in the Detroit, Michigan area.

It's my mom (front) and I, lol. Oh yeah, the frog was my little bro's.

I give 100% support to this flick! I LOVED it! Its only negative is it is quite a racsist movie, ACTUALLY, let me rephrase that. The movie itself is not racist in any way and is a wonderful plot that totally draws u into the movie. But ill be honest (not really spoiling anything for the flick) Clint Eastwood's character is highly racist throughout the movie. Off topic kind of; my family goes together to a "family movie" for X-Mas every year. I argued long and hard to see this flick and my Dad was on the same page, but momma and brother won out in the end and we saw "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" IMO i'd rather have watched half of Gran Torino and not been able to finish than to endure Benjamin Button!!!!!!! If any disagree with my opinion on Benjamin Button, all for ya! It had a great plot and storyline but it was an hour too long (total running time was 2 hrs 50 mins.) and i was never "DRAWN" into the plot!!!!! BB (Benjamin Button) was an ABSOLUTELY excellently acted/staged/costumed/makeup movie! It had no pull whatsoever to me as an unknown viewer. Gran torino was fabulously acted by Clint Eastwood (would you expect anything else???) but the rest of the cast was relatively un-known, and a lot of the writing for the film was ametuer at best. BUT Clint's absolute dominance of every scene he was in, and the fact that the plot drew you in, out of the two i'd recomend Gran Torino 3 times over!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry for being long winded, but this was highly debated in my house, and i personally am a lil harder on movies/entertainment just coz i have studied acting and entertainment itself. I may be entirely incorrect but i fealt BB was a yawn and bore, only interesting things were the set designs/great acting/thought provoking special effects and makeup. Gran Torino, however, was a simplistic plot and story line, but that was made up for by terrific character dynamics!!!! Again sorry for being long winded but most DEF check out Gran Torino, and if u are a woman/affeminate male u would probably enjoy Benjamin Button, i just personally got bored! Sorry if i spoiled anything for anyone!

Congrats to you and your moms.Between the two of you you can really get some nice tanks and fish.

Congrats to ur mom.

Now you can go grab a big tank!

I got called for a private audition and tried out for the Tao and Smokie roles too when they came up here to Minnesota. Would of loved to of said "That's a 1972 Gran Torino.....fastback!" and shoot a sub-machine gun for $35k.
