GOBI CAUGHT IN LOCAL STREAM HERE IN HAWAII....

SO WENT TO A LOCAL STREAM IN KANEOHE HAWAII TO CATCH SOME MINOW FEEDERS AND CAUGHT THIS LITTLE DUDE.

I THINK ITS A GOBI. CAN ANYBODY ID THIS CREATURE?

Sorry, can't help you there.. But it definitly look like some sort of golby or darter fish. On another note, I LOVE Hawaii!!! You are so lucky to be living there..

It does look like a species of Darter. Maybe google native species in Hawaii and im sure you can match it up. GL

does it have a suction cup on the bottom? it looks like it does. than it is a goby. darter fish dont have suction cups and i dont even think they live in hawaii

Im gonna say goby cause it looks like its got a suction cup under it..

...are there two fins or one under it? if the fin is slip it is a Sculpin..if it is fused in to one it is a type of goby

Theres no scuplin or darters in Hawaii, only gobies.
