so im still pretty new to the salt water trade, i set up a 90G fowlr tank in october, and i added my first few fish in february and then 1 in march, im looking into goby's and ive found a few i like, now i am wondering if mixing different breeds of goby's is safe and the other thing is how many goby's would you recomend in a 90G

thanks

I would probably recommend one...unless you got some very small ones.

These guys are fiercely territorial. (For the most part) and will fight with even the largest fish. (My yasha gobies used to try to chase of a harlequin tusk!)

I would look into one of the larger watchmen maybe for a tank like this...a pair of 5" or so gobies could be done depending on the aquascape and the bioload of the tank.

Hope this helps.

thank you, the two i was interested in where the diamond goby and the dragon gobys. if this info makes any difference

I have a diamond goby in my 30g... absolutely awesome fish to watch as he's very active and constantly moves stuff around. He'll pick up hermits or snails and move them if they are in his way lol. He's always rearranging the sand which is could as it keeps it sifted, the only bad thing is he'll cover up some corals... But I am a big fan of that goby
