I had a warrant issued today over a week and 1/2 old right on red ticket..

Then had to pay an extra fee for the "warrant"..

****in seriously.. :shakehead What a money extracting joke..

Yeah. Idaho is that way, too. I once had a warrant issued without ever being notified of my ticket. I just got this letter one day telling me I was already in big trouble and hopefully rich enough to pay them for it. Very silly.

try living in carmel,in we have 117 officers for a 15 square mile radius. they are literally hiding in trees, and they have NOTHING better to do than call 8 cars for a minor traffic ticket.

Be lucky you don't live in ohio. there is a town near me that has setup a speedtrap and in less then a month issued close to $1,000,000!!!! in tickets.

no need to throw bacon under the bus. i still find it delicious

Yeah, what an unjust country we live in with all these laws and stuff. And when you don't pay a fine on time, they issue a warrant, that is so unfair. (Anyone sense my sarcasm?)

You hate that "local bacon" until they help you or your family/friends out with something.

i still dislike them even after they help out.

If you are young, and on a sportbike in my town, doesn't matter if you did anything, you are getting stopped. It sucks.

I sense it. And if I was DUI, in a bar fight, attempted to kill someone, speeding at a high rate, or similar dangerous offense for my citation then I may understand the lack of leeway more.

I made a right on red when traffic was clear. I had 10 days to pay it. I thought that was "business days", but it apparently was not.

Not that you need a warrant for a right on red offender. There was a robbery at the local bank the other day, but I must be damn dangerous. Lock me up.

I'm not saying there aren't reasons why we need cops and rules in this world. I'm just saying it sucks being the cash cow having to fund the goverment. That some of their policys stink. And that in general they're nothing short of a pain in my butt sometimes.
