2 poles
1 box of hooks
1 box of split wieghts
1 chair
1 case of aluminum Bud light ln's

thanks! well i've got some good new and some bad news!
good news: i drank alot of beer and had a great time! caught a dozen or so cats 12"+
bad news: i would've caught more if i hadn't drank as much!!
i had two poles and they were back and forth all night i think they were playing mess with the drunk guy! .

Next time use circle hooks with a slip rig, they help drunks catch fish. Dont ask me how I know!

Also the BEST bait for catfish is crawfish!

whats a slip rig? i was using circle hooks! i had chummed the water with some rotten chicken livers and i was using beef liver for bait! it tends to stay on better.

A slip rig is where you use a bell sinker on your main line, then a swivel then a leader of 18-24" and then your hook. When the fish takes the bait he wont feel the resistance of the sinker and is more likely going to hold on a bit longer.
