Alright, so i'm heading out to california for a few days. I've pretty much got my trip planned out, but i'm still missing one aspect of it. Fish!

I was hoping you guys knew of and could point me to some good places to visit while i'm out there.

I know of the Monterey Bay Aquarium...

...any otheres???

any good Fish stores?

Depends where you are coming. San Diego area has the Scripps aquarium. Not huge but really cool with an amazing ocean view off their rear touch-tank. Aquarium of the Pacific is in Long Beach. It's cool with fun stuff to do most of the time like festivals. We went last year and they had a Japanese Taiko Drum exhibition; really cool. It's a good half day thing and then you have all of Long beach to explore. As for stores, I'd say Global Aquatics in Ontario is something to see. It's not wonderful, but they are a warehouse of fish of all kinds, tanks, puppies, kittens, birds, a 12' Nurse shark, and tons of equipment. They get less common fishies from all over. Kind of different.

Hope this helps a little. PM me for more info. I can probably help if you give specific areas. I travel for work so I know just about all of SoCal.

Steinhart in SF along with ACA in Sac!

There's two aquariums in SF, Steinhart, and another one on Fishermen's Warf, but i forgot the name. Monterey Bay, you already know, got a new freshwater otter exhibit opened recently, but they took down the best one i've seen which was the shark and ray exhibit. I'm also going to the aquarium in Long Beach hopefully soon, and i didn't even know about an aquarium in Sacramento.
