It's only a week. Your fish should be fine without food for a week. Don't use the feeder blocks. They have plaster of Paris that will alter your water chemistry.

Agreed, i've gone almost a week without feeding my 6" Regal and moorish without any ill effects. Plus i'm sure fish get fed s@#t all when at the aquarium for weeks on end!!!

Get some Egeria densa, hornworts and other fast growing plants. These usually harbor microorganisms which the fry can feed into. They'll be fine.

Friend or family member to feed and look things over twice a week. Pre pack the food in in small baggies or containers. This way one bag per day = no over feeding. ;)

fish do fine with food for a week i did this nt to long ago. i rather monitor my feedings so i asked no one to come feed them.
