I am going away for a week to cali and have to leave my 55g unwatched. I have the lights on a timer and before i leave i am going to put in a lot of feeders ...Then i have an automatic feeder which will release a little bit of pellets..I have 2 small oscars and 2 small red snooks i thought my new tank was going to be in but there was a delay so they are stuck in the small tank....So yea i am worried but does anybody think this will work or other suggestions??

Don't feed the fish while you're away. They will be fine without food, and you're MUCH less likely to come home to a disaster due to water quality degradation.

Being that they're oscars/red hooks they should be fine for a few days. You've done good with preparing. IMO might even nix the feeders as you won't be there to pluck out the dead, and just stick with the automatic pellet feeder. You're better off underfeeding than overfeeding.
