Alright, after losing my 2 Armatus and all the work I've been doing in Haiti I've kinda been chilling out for awhile. The bug is back though. I have a 75 right now with 3 soon to be 4 baby monsters in them. All are around 3-4"... RTC, TNS, Juruense (Alziana cat in which I can find no real info, and this one has a long white streamer off the top of his/her caudal fin in which I havent seen any pics like it yet)... Getting a tigrinus very soon....Like the guy told me early next week. I may also add a hybrid RT/TSN cat in.

The will go into the 220 and then into the 400..... After which the pond. Anyone know which will be growing the fastest?? Also I heard the Alziana will be the slower of the bunch, but as stated before I can't find much info on them. I will get a pic up for him soon. He is amazing looking imo...

Any input for aggression or one outgrowing another would be useful. I can individually feed to try and keep them around the same level.

I figured I will try and get some top/middwellers soon enough.

Wow, I thought some cat freek would chime in. I am thinking that all will be fine. I just hope none of the cats nip on the Alziana's streamer, and that I can keep him up with the others in growth. Some big fish and I am not too familiar with cats in the recent years so I am not 100% sure what to expect.

the RTC and TSN will grow much MUCH faster than the jur and tig. they will bully them and prolly eat them in a couple of weeks. actually, im not sure if they will bully them, but i wouldnt risk it. put the RTC and TSN in the 75, in a month or two, put them in the 220. then put the jur, tig, and other one in the 75 to growout. the jur and tig wont outgrow the 400 BTW.

Hmmm, can anyone tell me if it is normal for baby Juruense (alziana) to stay at the top of the tank?? Mine seems to stay in the top corner of the tank. I can actually scoop himup if I am very gentle. Is he just "acclimated" to his new surroundings yet?? Only been 2 days. Are they pretty much in the same behaviour as a Tig??

indeed

Is there water movement at the top where the jur hangs out? They are said to prefer being in the current.

Yeah there is... he is being a pain in the butt too. I have to hand feed the little guy. I am going to have to seperate the RTC from him already becasue the RTC is such a beast and has almost doubled in size already.

Try freeze dried krill since it will float and the jur should be able to find it.....Then again, you may have to move it for it will never catch up to the RTC which might try to eat it soon.
