Going "fishing"

I am leaving at 4:00 today to go on a 45 minute drive to a few pet shops a few towns over. I am not looking for anything in particular, which for me is dangerous.


Someone put some ideas in my head of what would work.


I have a 29g with 3 4" SDs and two Angelfish (one 2", one 5"+).


I also have a 40Breeder with a Striped Peacock eel, a 6" BGK, and a 2 1/2" severum.



Give me some ideas, please. I really want another cichlid, but there's not too much I could get that would be feasible.

Keep in mind the BGK will have a new home if it ever gets over 12". The Severum will most likely stay in the tank, unless it's a mutant that grows over 10". In either case, it is a couple years away.

For the 40 breeder some thomassi juwels would work.Maybe some of the smaller knifes?Tadple madtoms Maybe some pygmy cories or small plecs =]]

Yeah... I didn't buy any fish... Once I was at the stores picturing them in my tank, it just didn't fit/work. I like the way my tank is, but...


I did buy a new driftwood centerpiece for the tank though.

Nice dw, I personally would go with the plants in the back of the dw as a backdrop. What fish do you have in that tank?
