I picked up a 300gal acrylic showtank (96"Lx24"Wx31"T) from the LFS the other week. I paid $600 for the tank and a nice craftsmen style stand. I am thinking I got a pretty good deal. I have it setup for my small loach pack already. I have 11 clowns, 3 are 5-6", 3 are 4", the rest are juvies. Also have 3 kubotai and 1 E. bicolor. Stocking goals are 25 clowns and 13 kubotai and school of scissortail rasboras or R. caudimaculata.

It is a somewhat tall tank @ 31". The goal here is a malaysian brookstream biotope. The current circulation/filtration setup is 2x Rena xP2, 2x Koralia 4, 2x Koralia 1 and Magdrive 9.5 operating as a rivertank manifold.

I am not pleased with the rivertank manifold, so I am going to build a wet/dry and use it as a return. I am also going to purchase an fluval fx5. I think I might need another fx5 to get up to my goal of 10x/h. Its so hard to get a real picture of turnover because manufacturer estimates are all but useless. How close to 10x am I?
