Hello.

Have been having fishes and tanks in a way or another since I was young. I began with a gold fish bowl some time back in the seventies when I was a tiny boy. And then it has been several tanks of different sizes and contents. I got a Red-eared slider the 30th September 1986 and since then I've been a steady tank owner (atleast one, but most of the times two or more). And yes, I still got the red-eared.

I haven't really looked for any monster fishes before since they tend to grow a bit and need a little more space. But lately I started to get some smaller spieces but are now going for some bigger ones. So I got myself 4 Tiger Shovelnose Catfish that is on growth to be placed in my new big tank that will arrive this week :)

Other than that, I live in Sweden, love most animals (got 5 cats, and one more on it's way). Got a steady job as a cell phone service technichian, and is involved in our family business (a café). Interested in too much (except fishes) to mention here :D

Well, that's all for now :)

just a heads up...those tsn gets up to 5 feet in size. i was tempted to get one last friday but i have no way of housing such a monster.

Thanks.

The size of my TSNs at the moment is about 10-15 cm (4-6").
My "on growth tank" is about 220L (~59 gallons), my new tank that arrives the coming week is 450L (~120 gallons).
And I hope that that tank will give me enough time to build the big tank where I'm planning to keep them and hopefully some other "beasts" ;)

They're not very keen of getting their picture taken since they spend all day hiding. This was the best I could do now. Hopefully they'll get a bit less shy so I can get better pictures of them.

Atleast I know that they're eating, so they will get bigger. That's why I'm getting a bigger tank already :)

Welcome!
