Now there's an overused phrase if I have ever heard one!
Tonight as I was running to the store real fast, I noticed a trend that has started to catch on... to be trendy, if you will. Since I can remember I have always taken a bag with me to make quick runs to the store, as the French call it le fiche. I can't remember why, but my parents and myself always did, it just seemed to make more sense. Now there is a craze of "going green" and buying these chic black and green bags made from hemp that just scream "I love the world!".
Now I am all about "Going Green", just because that is the mindset that's always been given to me. My question to you, fellow MFKers, at what length are you will to go to be green? This isn't a guilt thread, just curious how important it is to some people. Remember, moderation counts. While I don't reuse potato sacks as clothing, or even invest in alternative fuels (hey, I'm a college student!) I do use a faucet filter instead of bottled water, and I always take my own bag to the store, drive a good mileage car, among other things.
What are some easy things you do to go green?
