Taking a trip to the local rock quarry tomorrow to look for rocks for our SA/CA cichlid tanks! Also there is a conveniently placed river within walking distance, going to look for driftwood too! 
I was just wondering if anyone had advice about what kinds of rocks to look for or stay away from. We're going to be converting from brown gravel to pool filter sand this week too want to make sure I pick out stuff that's going to look good! Also, what kinds of tree woods are not aquarium safe?
