My bass range from 7-10". I leave June 26 to the Philippines and come back on July 7. Will they be ok without feeding? I also already did a 90% wc. Thanks in advance

Obviously it would be better if you could get someone to put some food in (as long as they were not over fed) but yes you could leave them that long without food.

Alright thanks well i convinced my uncle to come by and feed them while im gone but he doesn't promise on feeding them daily because he's also busy

Don't feed them daily if you're not there to water change and make sure its not an overfeed.

Personally i'd ask someone to dunk a portion of food in half way between the holiday (you make the portion ready) that will just break the length of time up and it will be fine.

Sometimes i don't feed my fish for 5 days anyway so if you can break it up and get a feed in half way between your okay

+1 on what bones said. If you're not there don't get someone to feed daily the risk of overfeeding is too high. Also if you are not avaible to do a WC then you should always feed less as then there will be less pollutants in the water. So the best solution would be to get your uncle to just come round once half way through your holiday and feed once. Prepare the right amount of food for him in a small plastic tub so he can only give that amount. Then WC as soon as you get home. Remember in the wild fish dont get to eat every day.

A feed half way thru will be fine. My cichla are 14-18" and i was gone for 9 days and they didnt get fed at all and were fine.

Yup like everyone else is saying I would just ask your uncle to feed once half way threw. Cichla can go months without food if they are nice and healthy.

In went to Mexico for 2wks recently and left small bags of food for the neighbour to put in every other day. I also did 2 large 60-70% water changes 3 days and the day before I went away. Tank and fish were in good health on my return.
