I'm getting ready to go to a two day, possibly three day trip to Reno, Nevada today. What should I do to ensure my fish are happy and do not die or become stressed while I am gone. I just bought 100 feeders, 5 oz blood worms, and some freeze dried brine shrimp. I have not tried the brine shrimp before so when I introduced some to them they were not eager to eat it at all. Should I leave some feeders in the tank for them? or just load some blood worms into their bellies?
I got a Pbass, two oscars, peacock cichlid in one tank.
and another tank with some bluegill and baby bass. None of the fish are over 7 in. except my 10 in. bluegill.

feed the crap out of them and leave the lights out and you and your fish should be fine.:)

Most fish will be fine for 2 weeks.

Three days with out food is a cake walk for them, better than risking some other hand feeding them.As said feed well before leaving and a good water change and have fun.

i agree. they should be fine for a few days.

Lol. I wouldn't even be worrying about them. Everything will be fine. Unless you were gone for a week or more, I would be worried. 3 days is a piece of cake. Just make sure you feed them before you leave. Good luck.

IMHO they will be in more danger if you feed them all that stuff at once before you leave! Don't forget to leave the A/C on for them.
