I'm going away for about 9 days and I have a few things I'm wondering about. I have a community tank, a goldfish tank, a red cherry shrimp species tank, and an mbuna tank. I'm curious if the africans will be safe without feeding for that amount of time. Also, I'm unsure about the shrimp tank. they have massive amounts of java moss in there, but I typically feed them 1-2 shirakura shrimp pellets. I'm most likely going to need someone to come by to feed the cats, but I don't want to have someone do more harm then good by overfeeding all my tanks. please let me know what you do with similar tanks when you leave for a trip. thanks

If you are having someone come over anyway, I would have them feed about every 3-4 days. Get you some of those cheap pill dispensers and put the food in there pre-portioned.

1 dispenser for each tank with food for every 3-5 days.AND HIDE the FOOD after you put it in the dispensers, and make sure they know and understand to give no more then that.Or get auto feeders.Do a massive w/c the day before you leave.
