going on vacation ....feeding

ok guys ....


going on vacation for 4 days 3 nights , should i buy on of thease fish feeders , you know the ones in a timer ....


are they any good and or reliable ? or would it hurt the fish if i didnt feed them for a few days ? i dont want friends or neighbors coming over to do it

i have a 180 fresh

21 giant danios
3 gold sevs
2 geo juparis
2 angel fish
6 clown loaches

suggestions ?


i dont want any body in the tank to starve lol

As long as they are healthy, they will be fine without food for 4 days.

They will be fine for that amount of time but if wanted you can get one of those pyramid feeding blocks and that will hold them over for your trip.

fish in the wild regularly go weeks without food. Yours shouldnt be in danger. Worst thing to do is get somebody else to feed them.

My bichir, dat, uarus, and clown laoches went two weeks with no food (or water change) over xmas holidays, no problems.

I wouldn't do it with sick or small fish tho, or a tank with a lot of aggression that could be made worse if fish are hungry.

I would just go enjoy the vacation theyll hang low till u get back.
