Going out of town - how to feed fry and fish!!!

I am leaving Wed evening and I won't be home until Mon evening.


Tank 1: 1 - 3.5" jack Dempsey
Tank 2: 2 - 2" electric blue jack dempsey's and 1 common pleco 4"
Tank 3: 9 - 1/2" blue gene jack dempseys and 4 - 1.5" albino bn pleco


I'm most worried about tanks 2 and 3 because they are small and fragile.


what can I do for food while I'm gone?


There is not anyone available to come over. Please help!

Get an automatic fish food feeder.

I'd do regular maintenance before you leave. Water change etc. Feed your fish just before you go. They will be fine. Auto feeders can malfunction and leave you with quite a mess.

Did you ever use one and have it malfunction? People use automatic feeders all the time.

My auto feeder has never let me down, just test it before hand, set the schedule a day before you leave, set it on a book and see what it does for that 24 hours, adjust if necessary, you always want less food when u can't maintain the water. 1x/day is perfect
