I'm tired of laying around the house and decided to go striper fishing out on the boat in the ocean today. The current temp is 31F with a high of 41F at about 2pm. Nice clear sky's and 5-10mph winds which isn't to bad. I have a good feeling i am probably going to freeze my ass off but i look at it as a challenge. Wish me luck that i get something decent. I will post pic's here tonight if i get anything.
Going striper fishing today

I gave up fishing for them a few weeks ago. Most from this area have headed south.What can i say other then i'm nuts lol. Thank god there was no wind out in the ocean today or else i would of froze to death. We were fishing in 50ft of watter with winds out of the east at 5-7mph. Temp of the air out there was 24F. Once we reached the spot i could no longer feel my feet, face, or hands. But needless to say the trip was a success. Caught about 9-12 schoolies and two keepers. So at the end when i could no longer feel anything on my body i still smiled caz i got two fish for the dinner plate tonight.
I wanted to go out of Jones inlet yesterday, but on Sat night I rolled my ankle hard, so I didn't make it out.
