I asked about these a bit ago well the guy said he will sell us his last pair. Does anybody have these their latin name is paratailapia polleni I may have spelled it wrong. They are a very pretty black fish with small white dots hence the name. My wife has only seen them in a lfs once for sale think they will be great to breed.
 
Not to many people breed these but they are readily available at many LFS you just have to ask and they can order them. Also if your looking for people who are selling them you will have much better luck posting this as a WTB ad in the MFK Marketplace. This sub forum is just for discussion and not buying/selling.
 
I have one. Care is same as for CA cichlids. I have mine with an Oscar and it's a good combo.
 
We already have a pair saved not looking to buy or sell just wanting info on them . It never hurts to find out any oddities the fish may have as a surprize for in trying to look after them. I heard they were simular to the oscar in many ways.
 
I have a female Paratilapia Bleekeri which is like a polleni but with bigger spots, I have heard people say they remind them of oscars and I can see that too. My female gets along with my mixed peacocks and haps but I have heard the males can be really aggressive you might want to have a tank divider ready encase he wants to breed and shes not in the mood.
