My wife is Colombian and will be taking me to Colombia for the first time this spring. We are planning at least a two week trip at the end of the dry season. We will be traveling all around the country to visit family but also plan to take time just for ourselves. We may visit Tayrona (wife volunteered there) and/or Leticia (she's never been) and/or some place near the Pacific coast that she says has lots of fish (I forgot the name. Terrible, I know). I will be in all kinds of habitats and believe me I will be sticking a net or my face in every body of water I can. Her father has a ranch in a valley with a stream flowing through it! Though I only keep local FL natives, I am especially fond of loricariids and can not wait to potentially see them in the wild.
Any fellow fish nuts have suggestions for places to go and things to see?
