Going to Dallas the weekend of Mar. 10th

I going to Dallas Texas with the wife for the weekend of March 10th. She is going for business and I am going as a tag-a-long. Im pretty much free all day Saturday to do whatever so I am wondering, are there any good fish stores or freshwater public aquariums near the Dallas Convension Center that you would suggest visiting?

Dude go to Dallas World Aquarium its not big but they have some seriously awesome exhibits huge arapaima pond with manatees and a school of rtc's and some rays its awesome.

thats what Im taking about.. how close can you get to see the arapaima's?

You can stand at the acrylic of the aquarium the paimas are like a foot away. Have fun
