going to LFS. wat should i get :)

my LFS owner told me he was getting a shipment with alot of new fish. my tank is upwards of 350 gallons and right now i have a pike cichlid, bowfin, and florida gar going in and all are still small. the tank is a big L shape so its 25" wide on the ends, 38" in the middle and 28" tall. so what should i add?? id like it to be an open swimmer but thats not a huge deal. also not to expensive, id like to keep it under $60. any input is appreciated!

im planning on making an order from aquascape for a wild oscar next week but i might end up keeping him in my 75 growout. last oscar i got tried to get tough with my bowfin and his head ended up as dinner lol
