Hey guys, well today is a bitter-sweet day for me.... turns out my 250G plans are a train wreck, long story short i couldn't get enough money for the tank... and today i have to turn my silver arowana and rtc in to my LFS... anyway, im keeping my 100G and turning it in to a peaceful loach community :naughty: and decided sand was a better choice anyway, im either picking up pool filter sand, or caribsea sand... depends on whats available... so i was wondering, when im scooping out my gravel bed from the tank, will my 5 clowns be ok in a small 5 gallon tank with an airstone for an hour or two? it would be the same water and my room doesn't get cold... its 75 degrees in here right now... Thank

I did the exact same thing about a week ago with some different fish and all where fine

oh alright, i thought so.. thanks :D

Should be fine, just be sure to rinse the hell out of your sand before putting it into the tank. Hopefully most of the particulates settle out before you put the CLs back in.
