I have been using R/O water for my water changes in the past due to 1 ppm ammonia in the tap water.
I am woundering if my filter is built up enough to remove 1ppm ammonia in 24 hours. I say 24 hours because I can dose with prime and not worry about the ammonia. Prime should keep it safe for 24 hours, until the filter can remove the ammonia.
This would allow me to do more water changes, as my R/O makes water at a ratio of 1:2. Plus I have been dosing my R/O with prime anyway because I worry about chlormine.
