Gold Calvus yawning

crappy pics but awesome fish. hes just about 1.5 in. I just picked him up yesterday and so far hes doing great. Also, he was sold to me as a calvus but I'm starting to wonder if hes actually a compressiceps? Ive heard calvus have no scales on their head but I really can't tell.

looks like a goldhead comp to me. calvus will have white spots all over their sides along with that same pattern.

thanks and he does have white spots, they didnt really show in the picture. do comp. have white spots at all?
