I currently have a Gold CK and I have a Royal coming in tomorrow. Both are just about 6 inches and will be housed with my Jardini Aro and some tinfoil barbs. Should I expect to have to get rid of the GCK now that the royal will be there? The gold is pretty aggressive and I have seen him go after the Aro a few times now. They will be housed in a 75 gallon for now and will be getting a new 150 or 180 for Xmas. Thanks for the help!

the knives will be fine, id be worried about the jar being aggo

I was worried about the same thing until I saw the GCK going after the aro when the lights go out. The aros fins are now pretty bad so the GCK is going to go...Hopefully the Royal I just got will be a little less aggressive and maybe eat something other then live food!

I should get along, but if you're going to get rid of the GCK, watch for the Jar becoming agro towards the RCK. Knive aren't that hard to get off live food. Just starve them a bit and they'll get the point.

Just watch out for your aro because it will be aggresive towards the royal. I have the same setup as you a 75 gal with a jar and a royal. The royal is 3" bigger then the jar and the two of them are very territorial, always fighting when one is in the other's area. So just keep watch. If you can I would keep the two knives together in a tank large enough and they will do fine.
