gold clown knife, cloudy eye help!

I have about a 6 in. gold ck and it's one eye is a bit cloudy. I also have about a 4 or 5 inch bgk in the same tank. Added aquarium salt about a month ago when the fish were added. Any suggestions for treatment?

Thank you. I'm just wondering what I can use that won't bother my bgk. Is melafix/primafix ok? I just want some advice from people's own experience with this. I really don't want to lose him (we call him Willie, like the golden ticket.) or the bgk.

melafix and pimafix should be safe for both. i'm trying to clear up the cloudy eye in my payara right now.

How's the treatment going? Becareful with the stuff too. I tried treating my Sliver Aro for cloudy eye. I think it was cataracts. I medicated the poor thing to death

yeah knife fish are fragile when small, don't over treat the fish..

I'm doing the reccomended dosage. Water change today, adding salt. His eye is clearing up but he is sloughing all over the tank! The other knife is fine, as well as the bgk and the african butterfly. AAAAACK!
