Gold clown knife Scratches

My clown knife is getting scratches on him at night. I will wake up and he as more scratches. He used to be in the tank with a jack dempsey but i took him out. The jack dempsey didn't seem to have the same problems. I don't know i should treat him for parisites or a uv filter.

does your tank have lots of sharp stones? I think this is because the other fish can't inflict scratches.

He's probably trying to find a home at night and squeezing himself into something in your tank.

i wouldnt worry about it too much, just throw some salt in and he'll heal up

salt + increase the heat a tad and pay attention to make sure infection doesn't take place

also... post a full tank shot... might be scraping on some sharp rocks or driftwood
