* Gold Coin Turtle? *

Anybody have info on these guys? Not sure about the scientific term or any other name for these turtles, but I think that "Gold Coin" is their nickname. On the bottom of its shell is a circular formation that resembles a gold coin, hence the nickname. I was told that they are incredibly rare and hard to find.



Anybody keep them here or know of any in captivity?

They are for like medicine purpose (Chinese)

can cost a few hundred to thousand of dollars

FYI - I am at work and very limited in my internet access, hence the question/thread. The internet is half broken from my work and the filters are pretty strong here, im just glad that MFK gets through....lol
