Gold Gourami Spawn

Ok, so I have separated the pair into their own tank. I have a gold and a blue gourami who have paired off. They did not build a bubble nest, but are spawning now with the eggs floating at the top. Are they going to make it? When do I take the female out?

They are still circling and doing their "dance". I have bred Angels many times and even had a successful spawning of Kuhli loaches, but gouramis are new to me.

Oh for sure. It was quite by accident. It was in the middle of angel spawnings and I wasn't sure what they were. Sure enough I now have 30 kuhli loaches in a tank all by themselves.

I don't suppose you remember what triggered the kuhlis do you? congrats on the gouramis for sure, but I'd like to know more about the loaches

No, it was really crazy. We have a 120 gallon that was a fairly new set up. My roommate texted me as I was out of town and said we had babies. He was vacuuming the tank and found himself sucking up some fairly strong swimmers. We assumed they were angels but when I got home and googled it, they were obviously kuhli loaches. I had no idea how hard they were to breed until I started looking up how to take care of them. I guess we have fairly fertile vibes in this house. I am looking for the video now and will see what I can post.
