www.floridatropicalfish.com has Gold Dempseys for $4.50 each. They are located in Florida. Look at their site for their number and give them a call to set up a time for you to visit their store. They will also ship if you are in a part of Florida that is not close to them.
Marine Warehouse in Tampa has a lot of cichlids. I just sold them a salvini and I know they have JD's and EBJD's, among other Central American cichlids. I didn't see any "gold" JD's though. Also Africans...like SO many $50 haps. They really have the best freshwater fish within 100 miles.
