At a shop in Tacoma, WA I saw a shop selling DoviixManaguense as Hoffa or something like that.

There are two different strains of dovii depending on the collection locale. A gold colored one and the more common blue/green one.

Of course, it could be a hybrid. Without a photo I can't say for sure. But there are gold dovii out there.

Red Dovii sounds kool but no one has proof on them yet that i know of.
Lots of people have talk about it and have tryed to fish for it. I guess, A Place for Pets in Burien, WA got one from F.L. Whether or not any of this is actually true I dont know

Nope. They're out there. Here's one that is in a jar at university in Costa Rica. I have a photo of a white Dovii as well...somewhere on my hard drive.

i mean i trust their labeling if its a university but fish colors can change dramatically from their actual colors when they get preserved/have been preserved for a long time. and the people who preserved it would have seen its colors beforehand but just wanted to put that warning out there that if you dont know its from a reputable source a picture of a preserved fish saying its a rare color morph is not necessarily that reliable.
